Direct Merchandising Group are a BEE compliant company with a 26% direct black ownership profile. Our CEO, Craig Henkel is a practicing Attorney and manages the business from both a financial and strategic viewpoint. He is extremely hands- on in all spheres of the business. DMG have 5 Directors who manage Administration (Monique Jooste), Communications (Gillian Henkel), Formal (Jacqui Rowley) and Informal Markets (Branican Matsemela and Reginald Motsekoa)
Management at DMG are exceptionally well focused. Collectively the team display an enormous wealth of knowledge. Responsibility and accountability is imperative. The team offer support and knowledge transfer which makes DMG the successful company it is today. DMG is committed to continually enhancing each individuals knowledge base and hence the continual updating of skills and technical support is an ongoing necessity.
DMG Head Office in Gauteng house the Chief Financial Officer (Ian Wilkinson) and the Project & Logistics Manager of Informal Channel together with their teams. Regional Managers are based in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, Kwa Zulu Natal, Vryheid, Bloemfontein, Polokwane and Gauteng. Management are equipped to run autonomously and manage their teams accordingly.
